Edwards’ scoring abilities were evident throughout the season, with five games where he scored over 30 points, including a career-high 37-point game against Tulane on Jan. 6. He consistently scored in double figures, with an impressive streak of 27 consecutive games to close the year. His total of 650 points for the season ranked as the fifth-highest in North Texas history, with 390 points in AAC play placing him second all-time in the program’s records.
The talented guard boasted a 42.6 percent field goal shooting percentage, with a 35 percent success rate from beyond the arc. He also led the Mean Green in free throw shooting, making an impressive 80.7 percent of his attempts out of 171.

His outstanding performance placed him second nationally in scoring with 765 points.
In addition to his on-court achievements, Edwards was also named a 2024 Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, highlighting his commitment to both academics and athletics.
