Ulster Rugby Announces Partnership with Castore for Multi-Year Kit Deal

Ulster Rugby is pleased to announce its new multi-year kit partnership with Castore, which represents a significant development for the brand within the realm of Irish rugby. The agreement will entail Castore supplying kits for Ulster Rugby’s men’s, women’s, and age-grade teams, as well as replica kits, athleisure, and training-wear products, in addition to an updated merchandise range. A special range commemorating 100 years of Ulster Rugby’s home ground, Ravenhill, is scheduled for release in August. Although visual representations of the new kits are not yet available, the intention is to have them prepared for the beginning of the 2024/25 season.

Furthermore, the partnership calls for Castore to manage Ulster Rugby’s online retail platforms and physical distribution and fulfilment channels with the aim of improving the fulfilment process and reaching a global audience. In addition to online availability, the new Ulster Rugby products will be accessible for purchase in Castore’s global retail network and at the Ulster Rugby store at Kingspan Stadium.

Castore already boasts partnerships with various sports teams, including Leinster, Scarlets, Bath Rugby, Saracens Rugby, and Harlequins. The brand also has a presence in Formula One, applying its innovative manufacturing processes and fabrics to team and replica fan clothing for Oracle Red Bull Racing and McLaren F1, as well as to football teams such as Republic of Ireland, Newcastle United, Wolves, and Glasgow Rangers. Hugh McCaughey, Ulster Rugby’s Interim CEO, has expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with Castore, emphasizing the return to playing kits that reflect the club’s heritage with a modern design.

Tom Beahon, the Director of Castore, has also conveyed his enthusiasm, expressing pride in partnering with Ulster Rugby as the brand seeks to make a significant impact within the global sports apparel market. Castore acknowledges Ulster Rugby’s rich history and enduring partnerships and is dedicated to collaborating to bring success to the club.

Given that this partnership coincides with the 150th year of Irish Rugby and Ulster’s centennial playing at Ravenhill, it comes at an auspicious time. Both Ulster Rugby and Castore are eagerly anticipating the future benefits of this new collaboration.
