However, it is worth noting that aspiring players like Uwase encounter challenges, including the perception that basketball is solely for the affluent and the difficulty faced by individuals of shorter stature in gaining recognition from scouts.
The impact extends beyond individual aspirations, as the country’s own Armée Patriotique Rwandaise basketball team (APR) is poised to make its debut in the BAL, representing Rwanda amongst teams from 12 other African countries. Lt.
