India’s national hockey team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over an inexperienced German team in their inaugural match of the FIH Men’s Hockey Pro League in London on Saturday, 1st June.

Sukhjeet Singh subsequently extended the lead to 2-0 with a powerful tomahawk shot in the 41st minute, followed by Gurjant Singh adding a late third goal, sealing a convincing win for India.
Indian goalkeeper, PR Sreejesh, made several crucial saves during the game, preventing the Germans from scoring despite numerous penalty corner opportunities.
Following their victory over Australia, the Belgium Red Lions also secured a win against Spain, dramatically shifting the standings within the league. However, Australia suffered consecutive defeats, causing them to drop to fourth place.
