Bahamian native Yolett McPhee-McCuin, the head coach of the University of Mississippi women’s basketball team, will be conducting a complimentary basketball clinic at the Kendall G.L Issacs gym this upcoming Saturday morning. The primary aim of the clinic is to afford the next generation of basketball players the opportunity to acquire fundamental skills and knowledge of the game.
The clinic will be segregated into two distinct sessions. The first session, scheduled from 9-10 a.m., is accessible to first to fourth graders. Subsequently, from 10-11 a.m., the clinic will accommodate fifth to eighth graders.
Numerous analogous events have recently transpired in The Bahamas, with distinguished athletes, such as members of the Georgetown University men’s basketball team, orchestrating events to motivate and instruct young individuals.
This imminent basketball clinic presents an exceptional prospect for young players to receive hands-on instruction from a seasoned coach and promises to be an enjoyable and beneficial experience for all participants.
