Castle Trust Bank has once again demonstrated its commitment to charitable causes by hosting its second annual broker golf day, which has raised an impressive £8,500 for Just4Children. The event, which took place on Tuesday 18th June at Guildford Golf Club, saw more than 50 players from the broker and supplier community come together to support this worthy cause.
The day was filled with friendly competition, as participants took part in various contests such as Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, and Pro Shot competitions, alongside a raffle. The success of the event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Brightstar Financial, Karis Capital, IC Property, London Mortgage Solutions, Paris Smith, and VAS Valuation Group.
The funds raised will be donated to Just4Children, a charity that aims to improve the lives of sick children in the UK and Ireland by providing grants for medical treatment, therapies, equipment, and holidays. This support enables children to access essential resources and experiences that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
Barry Searle, Managing Director of the Property Division at Castle Trust Bank, expressed his gratitude to the sponsors and participants for their involvement in making the event a resounding success. He added, “The sunny weather this year was a pleasant change from last year when we got quite wet, and we all enjoyed a great day of golf, including a monster shot in excess of 300 yards in the Longest Drive competition.”
The overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees reflects the enjoyment and camaraderie that was experienced throughout the day. Searle also mentioned that everyone is already looking forward to next year’s event, highlighting the positive impact of the day not just in terms of fundraising, but also in building strong relationships within the industry.
This significant achievement by Castle Trust Bank and its partners underscores the importance of corporate social responsibility and the potential for businesses to make a meaningful difference in the community. It serves as an example of how organizations can leverage their resources and networks to support important causes and contribute to the well-being of children and families in need.
In conclusion, the success of Castle Trust Bank’s second annual broker golf day serves as a testament to the positive outcomes that can be achieved through collaboration, compassion, and dedication to making a difference. The funds raised will undoubtedly have a meaningful impact on the lives of the children supported by Just4Children, and the event has set a high bar for future community initiatives within the mortgage industry.
