This outstanding performance enabled them to climb 21 places, reaching a tie for 22nd place at 8 under par, positioning them just four strokes off the lead. Katsu acknowledged the impact of Shibuno’s hole-in-one, stating, “Until that time, we had a really tough time, and we missed a birdie putt by a little, so it made a change a lot.”
