As we make preparations for the forthcoming 2024/25 season, we are delighted to make known our search for new talent to join our team at Fantasy Football Scout. We have significant plans in progress, including the introduction of a new app, and we are in need of additional assistance to bring these plans to fruition.
We are presently seeking to recruit two new members to our technical team – a full-time full-stack developer with a focus on back-end development, and a part-time front-end developer. Both roles offer the possibility of remote work, with occasional in-person meetings in London.
The full-stack developer position is open to negotiation in terms of hours, and necessitates a strong skillset in both front-end and back-end development. Candidates should possess proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, API design and development, PHP, MySQL, Apache, WordPress, Ubuntu, and Ansible. Additionally, a minimum of a BSC Computer Science or related degree with a 2.1 classification, plus at least two years of commercial experience, are requisite for this role.
Conversely, the part-time front-end developer role also allows for flexible hours, and requires expertise in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX. Similar to the full-stack developer position, a BSC Computer Science or related degree with a 2.1 classification and a minimum of two years of commercial experience are essential qualifications for this position.
While our primary mode of operation is remote, the ability to travel to London for occasional meetings is preferred, but not mandatory. We welcome applicants from all locations, as we place a premium on talent over geographic proximity. Flexibility of hours is also a favourable attribute for both roles.
