Updates and Changes in the Hockey One League Board

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Hockey One League (H1), Adam Clifford was re-elected as a Member Association Appointed Director to the H1 Board, thereby extending his term by three years. With a background in communications, Adam has a strong connection to hockey as a former player and coach, in addition to extensive experience in covering hockey in Tasmania.

In the same vein, Carolyn Campbell, whose tenure as a HA Appointed Director to the H1 Board concluded on 15 June 2024, was acknowledged for her significant leadership, contribution, and commitment to the Hockey One League. Consequently, she has been appointed as a H1 Board Appointed Director for a period of three years, commencing 16 June 2024. Carolyn’s reputation is founded on her experience as a sports administrator and Board Director, currently serving on the Volleyball Australia and NSW Rugby League Boards. Additionally, she was re-elected as a H1 Board Chair for another 12 months.

Furthermore, Joanne Scanlon has been appointed by Hockey Australia (HA) to the H1 Board for a three-year term as a HA Appointed Director, effective from 16 June 2024. Joanne brings with her a wealth of experience in customer experience and marketing, particularly in the automotive, financial, and sports industries. Her expertise lies in transforming the customer experience by placing the customer at the heart of decision making.

The current composition of the Hockey One Board includes Carolyn Campbell as Chair, Sandra Sully, Adam Clifford, Steven Stewart, Gavin Hunt, and Joanne Scanlon.
