The Jeannette High School girls’ basketball team displayed remarkable resilience and determination in their recent game, where they nearly secured a victory despite only having three players on the court. Starting with five players, the team maintained a lead against Northgate but ultimately fell short in the final minutes of the game.

The Jayhawks girls’ basketball team, comprising only five players, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork as they took a four-point lead into the fourth quarter against Northgate at the Aquinas Academy Tournament. However, they faced a disadvantage when two of their players, Adriana Allison and Venicia Vignoli, fouled out of the game, leaving them with only three players for the remainder of the match.

Mckenna Craft, Karmen Kistner, and Mary Jones, the remaining players on the court, showed unwavering determination and resilience as they fought to maintain their lead against Northgate. Despite their valiant efforts, Jeannette (0-2) was unable to secure the victory, ultimately falling short with a final score of 27-24.
