Chelsea’s Struggles Continue with Defeat Against Wolves

Chelsea experienced a setback as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The team’s failure to capitalize on scoring opportunities ultimately led to their loss, allowing the hosts to claim all three points.

Despite a strong first-half display from the Blues, the match remained goalless at halftime. Raheem Sterling missed a crucial opportunity to set up a teammate for a better chance. This missed opportunity came back to haunt Chelsea as Mario Lemina put the hosts ahead early in the second half. Matt Doherty secured the win for Wolves with a goal in stoppage time. Although Christopher Nkunku managed to score a late goal for Chelsea, it was not sufficient to secure a victory.
