The tennis legend candidly shared that this often results in her having to rush to reach the door, leading to feelings of heat and stress upon her arrival.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Serena publicly expressed her sentiments, stating, “Thank you for holding the door open for me…. But if I’m a football field away please go ahead and go in… I don’t wanna rush- by the time I get there I’m sweating like crazy and stressed 🙈. Anyone feel me?”
Her sister, Venus Williams, responded with lighthearted humor, humorously commenting, “Gosh I’ve been making the mistake to be hustling all this time?!” This playful exchange between the Williams sisters provided insight into their close relationship and shared sense of humor.

In the video, Venus revealed, “Serena asked me – I know I don’t have a vote and I know Alexis is so much more important than me – she’s like, ‘What should I name her?’ And I said, ‘Whatever you want.'” Venus, displaying respect for the significance of the decision for Serena and her husband, refrained from voicing her opinions, recognizing that naming their daughter was a family matter.
“Of course, I had opinions. I wanted to name her a certain name. But I didn’t say anything because that’s not my job. They’re supposed to decide as a family what they want to name their daughter,” she explained.
However, Venus could not contain her enthusiasm when discussing her niece’s name, expressing that Adira has a beautiful, strong name and voicing her desire to have children as adorable as her sister’s daughters.
