Renata Corrêa Baldan, a former cage fighter and martial arts champion, has tragically lost her life in a devastating car accident. The 41-year-old mother of four was driving in Ubatuba, Brazil when the accident occurred. It is believed that she lost control of her vehicle while navigating a curve on the motorway, causing the car to overturn, hit a tree, and plunge off a 33ft cliff.
Emergency services, including firemen and paramedics, rushed to the scene of the accident, but unfortunately, Baldan succumbed to her injuries. She was alone in the car at the time of the incident. Baldan was a well-known figure in the world of MMA, Muay Thai, and Jiu-jitsu, having achieved four professional wins in MMA Super Heroes 3, 4, and 8 in 2014, as well as securing two championship belts in Muay Thai. Additionally, she was once crowned Miss Ubatuba, as reported by local media.
Following her successful career in martial arts, Baldan made a career transition and started working as a personal trainer in 2015. Her dedication and hard work led her to qualify as a firefighter in July 2022, and later, she ventured into the beauty industry, working as a beautician and massage therapist in early 2023. She was the owner of a clinic in Ubatuba at the time of her passing.
Baldan was in a committed relationship with a businessman and leaves behind three sons and a daughter. Her son took to social media to express his gratitude for the outpouring of support, acknowledging the challenging time for their family and thanking those who have stood by them.
