The historic estate previously owned by the co-founder of Rolls-Royce is preparing to welcome a new addition – a state-of-the-art golf driving range! The Rolls Of Monmouth Golf Club, situated within the registered historic park and garden of The Hendre, has recently obtained approval for this exciting new development.
Located approximately four miles west of Monmouth, the Grade II-listed Manor House at The Hendre, formerly the residence of Charles Stewart Rolls, now serves as a magnificent setting for the golf club. The estate features amenities such as a pro shop, kitchen, and club house, all housed within this historic building.

The planned driving range will be situated in a currently unused field east of the mansion house and the main drive. Additionally, permission has been granted for the construction of a single-story driving range building, which will cater to coaching and practice needs.
