Senior Hockey Weekend Preview: Ramblers Even Series Ahead of Weekend Matches

Last night witnessed an intense battle between the Kyle Elks and Eston Ramblers in the Sask Valley Hockey League playoff game. The first period concluded without any goals, but the second period saw Eston securing a 2-1 victory, thereby levelling the series at 1-1.

As the weekend approaches, the SVHL will see minimal league play, with most teams participating in provincial matchups. The line-up for the upcoming games is as follows:

Senior A
– Kindersley Klippers vs Loreburn 19ers on February 11 at 7:30 PM

Senior C
– Unity Miners vs Dinsmore Dynamos on February 10 at 5:30 PM
– Wilkie Outlaws vs Porcupine Plain Blues on February 10 at 8:15 PM
– Kyle Elks vs Grenfell Spitfires on February 10 at 5:00 PM

Senior D
– Perdue Pirates vs Macklin Mohawks on February 10 at 8:00 PM
– Eston Ramblers vs Kerrobert Tigers on February 10 at 8:00 PM
– Lucky Lake Lakers vs Foam Lake Flyers on February 10 at 7:00 PM

Apart from these matches, there will be additional weekend action across various leagues.

The SWHL will feature a game between the Edam 3 Stars and Macklin Mohawks on Friday, February 9 at 8:30 PM at the Credit Union Legacy Centre.

The WMHL will also showcase a series of playoffs:
– Eatonia Huskies vs Gull Lake Greyhounds at 8:00 PM at Gull Lake Arena
– Maple Creek Hawks vs Shaunavon Badgers at 8:30 PM at Shaunavon Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre
– Shaunavon Badgers vs Maple Creek Hawks at 8:00 PM at Maple Creek Community Arena
– Gull Lake Greyhounds vs Eatonia Huskies at 7:00 PM at Eatonia Arena

The CRHL will present Kerrobert Tigers vs Kindersley Kodiaks at 8:00 PM at the West Central Events Centre (Co-op Arena) for Game 2.
