In anticipation of the upcoming match, Coach Murray has revealed the 23-man squad, which includes Jerry Blyth-Lafferty making his debut at hooker in place of the injured Elliot Young. Additionally, Euan McVie returns to the second row following his recovery from an injury.

The squad presents an unaltered lineup in the starting props, with Robbie Deans and Callum Norrie joining Blyth-Lafferty. On the other hand, Ruaraidh Hart continues in the boiler room after making his professional debut for Glasgow Warriors. The back row consists of Number 8 Jonny Morris and flankers Freddy Douglas and Liam McConnell, who also holds the captaincy.

The half-back pairing comprises scrum half Murdoch Lock and stand-off Isaac Coates, while the back five remains unchanged. Vice-captain Geordie Gwynn partners with Kerr Yule in the centre, with Amena Caqusau and Kerr Johnston taking charge of the wings, and Fergus Watson completing the starting XV at fullback.

The bench includes newcomer Gavin Parry and several other players covering the forwards, as well as options for the backs including Eric Davey, Jack Hocking, and Johnny Ventisei.
