Bode Barnett’s hat-trick and Mason Hunter’s game-winning goal in overtime led Glasgow to a 5-4 triumph at Centennial Ice Arena on Sunday. Hunter’s decisive goal, which came during a power play, sealed a memorable performance for Glasgow. Zevin Kummerfeldt also made a significant contribution with a crucial goal, propelling the Ice Dawgs to a 4-1 lead in the second period.
The resilient Generals fought back valiantly, leveling the score at 4-4 with an impressive display of skill in the third period. Christopher Lang and Anthony Moorehead led Miles City’s remarkable comeback, scoring three goals to force the game into an extra session. Kameron Lockie added a goal for Miles City in the first period, setting the stage for an exhilarating contest.
