All-Conference Teams Unveiled for Lake Central Boys and Girls, Big Dakota Boys Hoops

The recent announcement of the all-conference teams for Lake Central Conference boys and girls basketball, as well as the Big Dakota Conference boys basketball, will undoubtedly excite high school basketball enthusiasts.

The Lake Central Conference Boys team comprises outstanding players from conference champion Hamlin, including senior Tyson Stevenson, junior Easton Neuendorf, and sophomore Jackson Wadsworth. Additionally, seniors Alec Squires and Maxwell Engebretson, junior Maverick Nelson of Sioux Valley, senior Lane Tvedt and juniors Bryon Laue and Jamison Keszler of Castlewood, and seniors Tom Aughenbaugh, Kadyn Fast and George Jensen of De Smet have also been recognized for their exceptional talents. Notably, Squires has been selected four times, while Stevenson, Neuendorf, and Tvedt have each received the honor three times.

The standings for the Lake Central Conference Boys are as follows: 1. Hamlin, 6-0; 2. (Tie) Sioux Valley, Castlewood and De Smet each 4-2; 5. Flandreau, 2-4; 6. Clark-Willow Lake, 1-5; 7. Deuel, 0-6.

Moving on to the Lake Central Conference Girls, the team features talented players from conference champion Flandreau, such as seniors Lily Klein, Lizzie Pavlish, and Claire Sheppard. Remarkably, Sheppard and Bloker have been selected for the fourth-straight year, and Pavlish for the third-straight year, signifying their sustained excellence.

The standings for the Lake Central Conference Girls are as follows: 1. Flandreau, 6-0; 2. Sioux Valley, 5-1; 3. Hamlin, 4-2; 4. De Smet and Deuel each 2-4; 6. (Tie) Clark-Willow Lake and Castlewood each 1-5.

In the realm of the Big Dakota Conference Boys, standout players include Dakota Munger of Chamberlain, Alex Schumacher of Miller, Broch Zeeb of Stanley County, and Shawn Hammerbeck of Winner.
