Cardinals Victorious in Spring Break Showdown with Concordia University Texas

In a remarkable demonstration of skill and strategy, the Wesleyan men’s tennis team secured a decisive 7-2 victory over Concordia University Texas. The team exhibited exceptional talent and unwavering determination as they dominated both the doubles and singles matches.

The evening commenced with an impressive sweep of the doubles matches, with the Wesleyan team claiming victories in all three pairings. Max Litton ’26 and Harry Portnoy ’24 delivered a stellar performance in the No. 3 slot, securing not only a triumph in doubles but also clinching individual singles wins later in the evening. JT Bilski ’26 and Ben Mitchell ’24 demonstrated remarkable tenacity in their match, ultimately emerging victorious in a hard-fought battle. Meanwhile, Harry Collomb ’26 and Brett Keeling ’27 showcased their expertise with a commanding win in the No. 2 slot.

The momentum carried on as Litton and Portnoy maintained their winning streak in the singles matches, delivering outstanding performances that secured crucial points for the team. Mitchell also showcased his prowess on the court, achieving a well-deserved victory in the No. 2 slot. Keeling solidified the team’s triumph with an impressive performance in the No. 3 position.

Despite the formidable challenge posed by their opponents, the Wesleyan team remained steadfast in their pursuit of victory.
