Rangers’ Undefeated Streak Crumbles with 2-1 Loss to Celtic

Rangers suffered their first defeat of the season, falling 2-1 to Celtic in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League. Despite a strong undefeated run, the Light Blues were unable to maintain their momentum and conceded goals to Celtic forward Natasha Flint, with a single goal scored by Jane Ross in the latter stages of the game.

Nevertheless, Jo Potter’s team remains at the top of the SWPL table and now turns its attention to the upcoming Sky Sports Cup final at Tynecastle, aiming to secure a trophy. The return of Kirsty Howat to the matchday squad after a lengthy injury layoff was a positive development.
