The Carrick Golf Club has appointed Paul Reid as its new captain, a familiar figure from his tenure as the former Director General of the Health Service Executive (HSE). His Captains’ Drive-In event was held last Saturday alongside Lady Captain, Anne Cox.

After three years in the position, he stepped down in June 2022. He has now taken on the post of captain at the local golf club in Carrick-on-Shannon, where he is an active member.
