McPherson College Bulldogs Dominate Bethany in Men’s Tennis Match

The men’s tennis team at McPherson College delivered an exceptional start to their KCAC play by achieving a clean sweep against the Bethany College Swedes in a match in Lindsborg, Kansas. The Bulldogs established an early 1-0 lead by securing the doubles point with three resounding 6-1 victories in each spot.

In the singles competition, Michael Beltran set the tone for the Bulldogs with a solid 6-0, 6-3 victory in the top singles spot. This was closely followed by Oscar Brouwer’s 6-2, 6-2 win over Carlos Rodriguez Rivas. Martin Millos then stepped up to clinch the win for the Bulldogs with a hard-fought victory in three sets. Daniel Marcano’s performance extended MC’s lead to 5-0. Simon Delgadillo and Texas Ranger Schmidt rounded off the dominant display with matching 6-0, 6-0 wins, completing the sweep for the Bulldogs.

Looking forward, the Bulldogs are scheduled to play against Kansas Wesleyan University at the Bulldog Tennis Center on Wednesday, March 20, as they aim to continue their winning streak in the KCAC.

The team’s impressive performance against Bethany College demonstrated their strength and determination as they strive for success in the upcoming matches.
