In her new role, Meier will focus on fundraising for women’s programs, providing mentorship, and fostering relationships with alumni. She has been deeply involved in fundraising efforts in the past, demonstrating her commitment to supporting women’s athletics at the university.

Meier’s legacy extends beyond her coaching career, encompassing her accomplishments as a player and mentor. She has received numerous accolades, including being named as the ACC Women’s Coach of the Year in 2011 and earning a spot in the ACC’s 50th-anniversary team.

She has faced personal tragedy, including the loss of her father before she was born and the passing of her nephew in a tragic car accident. These experiences have motivated her to inspire others and make a positive impact in the community.
