Irish Teenager from Mullingar to Represent Country at European Martial Arts Championships

Mullingar’s own Cadhla Gilhooley has been chosen to proudly represent Ireland in the upcoming European Youth Championships, which are scheduled to take place in Serbia over the Easter weekend. The event, organized by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and hosted by the Serbian MMA Federation, will be held in Belgrade from March 29 to April 6.

Cadhla has been honoured with the selection for this competition, marking a significant achievement in her athletic career. She dedicates two hours of training every day at the Relentless Martial Arts Club in Mullingar, under the guidance of head coaches Danni and Alan McCormack. This is not the first time Cadhla has been chosen to represent her gym, town, and country at an international level, as she has previously competed for the past two years.
