The Burlington Free Press sports staff has chosen the top high school girls hockey players in Vermont for the 23rd annual All-State Girls Hockey Team. A total of 30 players have been selected for the first and second teams, and have also received honorable mentions for their exceptional performances throughout the season.
The first team is led by BFA-St. Albans senior Bri Jarvis, who was named Miss Hockey in recognition of her exceptional talent and contribution to her team’s success. Jarvis’ remarkable speed and stick-handling abilities have made her a game-changer on the ice. She has achieved remarkable statistics and has been a vital player for her team.
Joining Jarvis on the first team are talented athletes such as Isabel Donza from Stowe High School, Holley MacLellan from Burlington/Colchester, Hannah Gubbins from Woodstock Union High School, and Braelyn Park from Hartford High School. These players have showcased their skill, leadership, and dedication to the sport, earning them well-deserved recognition.
On the second team, players like Hadia Ahmed and Sabrina Brunet from South Burlington High School, and Camryn Poulin from Burlington/Colchester, have demonstrated remarkable performances throughout the season.
