Both the club and the player are eager to avoid further complications as the new season approaches, but there have also been discussions of United signing a new left-back in the summer transfer window.
Despite facing a challenging season, Malacia is determined to make his third season at the club more successful. He still has two years remaining on his contract and is training abroad with specialists in the hopes of returning to form.
