Guardiola reassured the media that Foden’s injury was not serious, stating, “It’s a knock. He was unhappy with me, questioning why I made the substitution, so that indicates he is fine.”

In more positive news, Kevin De Bruyne is poised to return to the lineup after missing the previous match due to illness in the Bernabeu locker room.
Despite City’s previous struggles without Rodri, Guardiola has opted to give the Spanish midfielder a break, a decision that Rodri himself acknowledged, stating, “I do need a break. I need to recuperate. It’s something we are planning, yes.”
