Northeast Florida’s high school boys basketball season has concluded, and once again, there has been an impressive display of talent on the court. The Florida Times-Union has upheld its tradition of selecting the All-First Coast team for the 2023-24 season, recognizing the top players in the region. The selection process considered various factors, such as individual and team achievements, overall statistics, observations from the Times-Union sports staff, nominations from coaches, and the quality of the schedule.
The first team highlights exceptional talent, including Chris Arias, a senior from Providence, and Anakin Brown, a senior from Beachside. Arias averaged 13.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, while Brown demonstrated his athleticism and skill with an average of 21.5 points and 5.3 rebounds. These players, along with their peers, have undoubtedly made their mark on the high school basketball scene.
The second team also features remarkable talent, including C.J. Hall from Hilliard, Dameon Jones from Paxon, and Aaron Rivers from Oakleaf. Their consistent outstanding performances throughout the season have earned them a well-deserved spot on the All-First Coast team.
The third team includes rising stars such as Ta’veon Dunbar from Raines and Darian Frazier from Wolfson, who have demonstrated their potential and talent on the basketball court. Their inclusion in the All-First Coast team is a testament to their hard work and commitment to the sport.
