Morocco has been honoured as the top performing African nation in tennis by the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) for the year 2024. In an official correspondence sent to the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation in Tunis, Tunisia, CAT President Jean-Claude Talon commended the impressive results achieved by Moroccan athletes across various age categories in African Championships held throughout 2024. The award also acknowledges the bonus points Morocco earned for its performance in the CAJ 14&U tournament during the 4th quarter of 2023.

The 2024 “Trophée des Nations” will be presented to Morocco during the closing ceremony of the African Youth Teams Championship for under-14s, set to take place in Tunis from May 6-11.
