The Maine Mariners emerged triumphant in Game 3 of the North Division Semifinal, securing a 4-1 victory over the Adirondack Thunder, propelling them to a 2-1 series lead.

The game commenced with Maine taking the lead, netting the first two goals of the match to establish a 2-0 advantage. Ty Cheveldayoff opened the scoring at 7:48 of the first period, while Andrew Peski extended the lead to 2-0 at the 11:37 mark. The Adirondack Thunder swiftly responded, with Andre Ghantous narrowing the gap by scoring their first playoff goal at 14:34 of the first period.

Despite being outshot 13-9 in the first period, the Thunder trailed 2-1 after the initial 20 minutes of play. However, as the game progressed, Maine’s Owen Pederson and Brooklyn Kalmikov scored empty-net goals in the third period, securing the 4-1 victory.

In the match, goaltender Isaac Poulter made 24 saves out of 26 shots, while Brad Arvanitis denied 28 of 29 shots on goal, contributing to the Mariners’ win.
