During the first half, Bath took the lead with Josh Bayliss and Will Muir scoring early on, and Finn Russell converting both, extending their lead with a penalty. Northampton Saints managed to reduce the deficit just before halftime when James Ramm scored in the corner.
The second half proved to be challenging for Northampton Saints as Bath continued to dominate, scoring four more tries. Despite this, Northampton Saints managed to score a consolation try towards the end of the match.
Looking ahead, Northampton Saints will have a week’s break before they face Saracens in the Gallagher Premiership semi-final at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday the 31st of May.
