Hey basketball fans! Get ready for an exciting season as the Macalester women’s basketball team gears up for the 2023-24 campaign. They will kick off their season at the Lake Forest Tournament in Lake Forest, Illinois on November 10-11. After that, they will return to Minnesota for their final non-conference game against Martin Luther on November 18.
Coached by the amazing Katie Kollar, the Scots will have their home opener on November 21, which will also mark the beginning of conference play. They will be hosting Concordia in what promises to be an intense matchup. Make sure to mark your calendars for this one!
There are several exciting home games to look forward to in the MIAC. On January 3, the Scots will face off against St. Catherine, followed by a game against St. Olaf on January 17. And on February 3, they will take on Saint Mary’s. These games are bound to be thrilling, so don’t miss out!
To wrap up the regular season, the Scots will have two home contests. On February 14, they will go head-to-head with Carleton, and on February 17, they will face off against Augsburg. It’s going to be an action-packed end to the season!
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The MIAC Playoffs will begin on February 19 at various campus sites. The top six teams in the MIAC standings will battle it out for a chance at the championship. Who will come out on top? We can’t wait to find out!
