The Welsh rugby team Scarlets is set to commence their 2024-25 BKT United Rugby Championship campaign in northern Italy against Benetton on September 21. The comprehensive fixture list for the upcoming season has been unveiled, featuring several riveting matches in the initial weeks.
The team’s inaugural home match against Cardiff in round two is scheduled for September 28, followed by another fixture at Parc y Scarlets against Connacht in round three. This will be promptly succeeded by a return against Cardiff for a round-four tie at the Arms Park, then back-to-back home Friday night clashes against the Vodacom Bulls and Zebre Parma.
Following the autumn international window, Scarlets will journey to Glasgow on Friday, November 29, and once the opening rounds of Europe have concluded, they will contend with the Ospreys in the West Wales derby on Boxing Day. The Dragons will then visit Llanelli on New Year’s Day, before Dwayne Peel’s side hosts Edinburgh on Saturday, January 25 in round 10.
In February, a clash with Munster in Cork will be followed by a St David’s Day match against Ulster in Belfast. Scarlets will host the Stormers in Llanelli in round 13, followed by a much-anticipated return clash against the Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday, March 29 with a 3pm kick-off.
The team will face the Dragons again on Judgement Day on April 19, before playing their final home match of the regular league season a week later with Leinster as the visiting team. The final two rounds will take place in South Africa against the Emirates Lions and Hollywoodbets Sharks.
