Saturday’s Showdown at the US Women’s Open

The US Women’s Open has entered the third round, and the competition at Lancaster Country Club is becoming increasingly riveting. Wichanee Meechai of Thailand currently leads the pack at four-under-par, edging out her playing partner, Andrea Lee, by two strokes. The final group for Saturday’s play is scheduled to tee off at 1.30pm ET, immediately following the commencement of Yuka Saso, the 2021 champion, and Minjee Lee, the 2022 winner.

Regrettably, several prominent figures in the world of women’s golf will be absent from the weekend line-up, including the tournament favourite and reigning World No.1, Nelly Korda. Other notable players who failed to make the cut include Rose Zhang, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, and Brooke Henderson.
