Utah Hockey Club Unveils Debut Season Jerseys

The Utah Hockey Club has recently unveiled the jerseys that it intends to wear during its inaugural season, providing fans with a first glimpse of the team’s temporary attire. The jerseys, referred to as “sweaters” in the parlance of the NHL, showcase the colours mountain blue, rock black, and salt white, which will serve as the team’s signature colours moving forward, regardless of its eventual name.

Of particular note is the connection between the hockey team’s colours and those of the Utah Jazz, another franchise under the Smith Entertainment Group. This announcement coincides with the team’s official entry into the National Hockey League, following the completion of the necessary transactions.

Ryan Smith, a pivotal figure in the establishment of the new NHL franchise, expressed his enthusiasm, remarking, “Today marks a momentous occasion for the state of Utah as we formally conclude the establishment of a new NHL franchise…We have an extensive amount of work ahead of us – training camp is set to commence in less than 100 days – and we could not be more thrilled about the prospects for the future.”

The team’s logos have also been recently revealed subsequent to the filing of trademarks. Furthermore, a fan survey is presently underway to select a nickname that will be adopted beginning in the team’s second season. Fans will also have the opportunity to acquire team merchandise at the arena’s team store, with sales beginning at the complimentary NHL Draft party hosted by the club on June 28th.
