Hey there, football fanatics! If you’re a school leaver looking to continue playing and studying football, we’ve got some exciting news for you. The York City FC Academy is on the lookout for talented boys and girls aged 16-19 to join their football development programme at York College. Not only will you get to pursue your passion for football, but you’ll also have the opportunity to study academically at York College.
At the York City FC Academy, they offer a range of courses to suit your interests. Whether you’re into sports coaching, sports science, or A Levels, they’ve got you covered. And the best part? You’ll be part of a football programme where you’ll receive top-notch coaching from UEFA A Licence and B Licence coaches. Plus, you’ll get to play in teams that compete in the AOC Sport Colleges League.
So, mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, because that’s when the trials will be held at York College. Girls, make sure to arrive by 9.45am for the trial from 10am-12pm. And boys, your trial will take place from 1-3pm, so be there by 12.45pm. The trials will be held on a 3G surface, so get ready to show off your skills!
