There was a crazy crash between a car and a motorcycle when one of them didn’t give way to the other. It happened at a roundabout on University Avenue, just a few meters from Los Patos Avenue, at the entrance to the Las Esmeraldas housing development. The car involved was a dark Sentra and the impact was so intense that the front of the vehicle was completely wrecked. The driver got out of the car to try and help the person on the motorcycle. Shortly after, traffic police arrived at the scene to control the area, and paramedics from the Civil Protection also came to provide assistance. The police redirected traffic to prevent any further accidents while the emergency services worked at the scene. It was reported that the young person on the motorcycle would be taken to the hospital to check for any serious injuries. The traffic police spoke to the other driver and explained the procedures for handling the damages. Since there was an injured person, the case would be handed over to the appropriate authorities.
