A serious accident occurred this afternoon on Sgambati Street, the parallel road to the San Benedetto del Tronto seafront. A car and a motorbike collided, and the young daredevil rider came off worse. The guy remained conscious throughout but suffered multiple injuries. Due to the severity of the crash, the medical team on the scene called for an air ambulance. Icaro, the helicopter, landed at Ragnola helipad to transport the rider to the regional hospital in Torrette.
