Alabama Women’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at Landfall Tradition

Hey y’all! The Alabama women’s golf team is getting ready to wrap up their fall season this weekend at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. It’s gonna be a three-day tournament hosted by UNCW at the Country Club of Landfall’s Pete Dye Course. The course is a par 72 and stretches out to 6,194 yards. Let’s take a look at the lineup for the Tide.

Leading the team is Sarah Edwards, who has been on fire this fall. She’s finished in the top 20 in all three events and has the best stroke average (70.78) on the team. She’s also been playing under par with an average of -1.22 and has had 7 rounds of par or better. Impressive, right?

Another standout player is Elina Sinz. She’s had two top-25 finishes in her first three tournaments with the Tide, including a 23rd place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship. And let’s not forget about Taylor Kehoe, who had the highest finish for an Alabama golfer this fall, tying for 4th at the Boilermaker Classic.

These three ladies, Edwards, Sinz, and Kehoe, have been consistent contributors to the team score in every event. Joining them in the lineup are Kaitlyn Schroeder and Kynadie Adams, who will be making her first appearance this fall.

The tournament will be played in a stroke-play format, starting bright and early at 8:30 a.m. CT on Friday. The field includes 18 teams, including our very own Alabama, as well as some tough competition like Duke, Clemson, and Michigan State. You can keep up with the live scoring on Golfstat.com.
