Liverpool have a massive talent in their ranks that could save Jurgen Klopp some serious cash. Jarell Quansah, a 20-year-old centre-back, is making waves at Anfield and impressing Klopp with his performances. With six appearances already this season, including starts in the Premier League and Europa League, Quansah has shown maturity beyond his years. Former England Women international Eni Aluko even compared him to the legendary Rio Ferdinand, praising his elegant ‘Rolls Royce’ style of play. Klopp may reconsider his plans to sign another defender in January as Quansah continues to shine. Despite primarily being a centre-back, Quansah proved his versatility by playing at left-back in Liverpool’s recent victory over Toulouse. With Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk approaching the latter stages of their careers, Quansah could compete for a starting spot alongside Ibrahima Konate. Instead of splashing the cash on expensive signings, Klopp may choose to nurture Quansah, following in the footsteps of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones. If Quansah keeps impressing, he could become a regular fixture in the Liverpool lineup for years to come.
