Jonathan Haggerty, the bantamweight Muay Thai champion of ONE Championship, is eagerly anticipating a rematch with Superlek Kiatmookao. The two fighters previously met in 2018 outside of the ONE promotional banner, but the bout was stopped due to a cut around Haggerty’s eye. Haggerty, who now reigns as the bantamweight champion, believes that a rematch with Superlek is just a matter of time. Superlek, who currently holds the flyweight kickboxing belt, may also move up a division after missing weight in his last fight. Haggerty is confident that if Superlek or Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the current flyweight champion, challenge him in the bantamweight division, they will be in for a surprise. Haggerty is excited about his upcoming fight against Fabricio Andrade for the vacant bantamweight kickboxing title at ONE Fight Night 17 in Bangkok. Despite facing setbacks in his career, Haggerty is determined to succeed in his new weight class.
