Last Thursday, the No. 1 Northwestern Field Hockey team faced off against No. 7 Maryland in their final regular season game. And guess what? Northwestern came out on top with a fantastic 5-1 victory! This win not only secured their first outright Big Ten regular season championship since 1994 but also marked the first time since 1988 that they finished the season undefeated in regular conference play. Talk about a historic moment!

Leading the charge for Northwestern was graduate student midfielder Alia Marshall, who scored one goal and provided two assists. What a star!
