Now, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of the tournament. In the four-person team event, the team consisting of Connor McGlave, Marc McStay, Luke Gregory, and Richard McGlave emerged as the champions. They totally owned the competition with a staggering 113 points on the back nine of Faldo and the back nine of the Majlis. Bravo, guys!
But hold on, the runners-up in Group B also deserve a shoutout. Raj Janardhan, Sanjay Raina, Arman Singh, and Mustafa Khan put up a great fight and secured the second spot with 111 points. Not too shabby, huh? And let’s not forget about the third-place winners in Group B, Tariq Chaudhary, Syed Badruddin Hilal, Shehzad Hameed, and Zain Qureshi, who scored an impressive 101 points.
Moving on to Group A, which was played on the front nine of the Faldo and the front nine of the Majlis, Anil Kumar, Arindam Chakrabarty, Nandan Mer, and Asif Raza emerged as the champions with 101 points. It was a close call, with Ashish Nanda, Nikhil Nanda, Dalip Tripathi, and Diya Shiv Kumar finishing just one point behind in second place. And let’s not forget about the third-place winners in Group A, Shiba Wahid, Tauseef Khan, Ravi Khanna, and Roma Khanna, who put up a great fight and secured 98 points.
Now, let’s talk about the on-course competitions. In Group A, Mike Ryan won the title of Nearest the Pin on Majlis Hole 4, while Wonjeong Lee claimed the title on Faldo Hole 8. In Group B, Candice Wang took home the title of Nearest the Pin on Majlis Hole 11, and Dinesh Sharma emerged victorious on Faldo Hole 12. And let’s not forget about the Best Dressed Lady, Dong Jin Kim, and the Best Dressed Man, Ian Gregory. They definitely brought their A-game!
