Strathroy Rockets: A Youthful Team Soaring in Junior B Hockey

Last year, the Strathroy Rockets thought they had the youngest team in Junior B hockey. This year, they’re even younger and they’re competing for the top spot in the Western Conference of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. The team’s focus is on developing players for higher leagues, and their strategy seems to be paying off with wins. The head coach, Jason Williams, believes that having a young team with confidence can lead to surprising results in the playoffs. The Rockets have some talented players, including Matthew Souliere, who has scored 14 goals in 14 games and has a powerful shot. Ethan Facchina, another standout player, has already scored 10 goals this season and has shown great skills as a centre. The team also has strong goaltending with Colin Androlewicz, Liam Reid, and Hayden Duncan. The Rockets have a plan in place to continue their success and reach even greater heights.
