Annabel Peaford on the Verge of Making History at the Justin Rose Junior Telegraph Championship

Annabel Peaford is set to make history as the youngest-ever winner of the Justin Rose Junior Telegraph Championship. The 14-year-old golfer from Walton Heath is leading the final round with a four-shot advantage over defending champion Sophia Fullbrook. Annabel’s twin sister, Emily, unfortunately did not qualify for the tournament but will be cheering her on from home. The Peaford twins have been making waves in the golfing world, with Annabel recently being called up to the England girls squad. Their father and coach, Simon Peaford, believes their success is due to their competitive nature and constant push to improve. Annabel’s impressive performance in challenging conditions, including strong winds and rain, has put her in a strong position to claim the championship title. In the boys competition, Morton Bailey is leading by two shots, followed closely by Connor Graham and Jake Wallis.
