The 2023 fall season wrapped up with a bang at the Jimmy Powell Invitational in Elon, N.C. Anna Babayan and Jesse Hollins rocked the court, clinching a share of the doubles title, while Nicole Abel dominated and secured the singles title all for herself.

Mark your calendars for the season opener on Jan. 21, when the Lady Chants will face off against the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia, S.C. Then, they’ll be back on home turf for an epic three-game homestand against Wofford, Presbyterian, and College of Charleston.

Before diving into conference play, the Lady Chants will hit the road for four out of their next five matches. They’ll take on tough opponents like Charleston Southern, Clemson, and UNC Greensboro, with a home game against Campbell in between. It’s going to be a thrilling ride!

The Sun Belt Conference play kicks off on Mar. 9 with a showdown against Georgia State in Conway. Then, it’s off to face Texas State and Louisiana on the road. But wait, there’s more! The schedule heats up with non-conference meetings against Murray State and Southern Miss before the conference play concludes.

The Chants have a packed schedule for the latter part of the season, with seven intense conference matches against teams like Georgia Southern, South Alabama, ULM, Arkansas State, Old Dominion, James Madison, and Troy. It’s going to be a battle to remember!

And don’t forget, the 2024 Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Championship is set to kick off on Apr. 25-28. It’s going to be an electrifying showdown!
