Mauricio Pochettino is feeling apologetic after his outburst at the officials following the Chelsea vs Man City match. Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, is totally cool with Pochettino not shaking his hand after the epic draw at Stamford Bridge. The Citizens were held to a 4-4 draw, and it was City academy graduate Cole Palmer who scored the equalizing penalty in stoppage time. The game ran for 100 minutes due to the penalty incident, and Pochettino was not happy that it ended when it did, especially as Chelsea had possession and were looking to launch a final attack. Pochettino expressed his fury at the officials as the full-time whistle blew, walking onto the pitch before being calmed down by his coaching staff. He hugged and shook hands with both sets of players but forgot to shake hands with Guardiola. However, Guardiola holds no grudge, saying, ‘It’s not a problem. It’s fine. The emotions happen to me sometimes. Completely fine. I don’t want to make a thing about it.’ Pochettino apologized to Guardiola and the officials for his conduct at the full-time whistle, acknowledging that he deserved to be booked and that his behavior was not good. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with VAR’s decision to award City a penalty, but stopped short of criticizing the officials, saying, ‘It’s the opinion of people sitting in a room with cameras. For me, what can I tell you? Sometimes it’s for you, sometimes it’s against you.’
