Access Sport Has Partnered With Basketball England To Make A Positive Impact On The Lives Of Young People. Together, They Aim To Upskill 150 Coaches And Volunteers To Lead Inclusive Community Basketball Activities, Benefiting 1,500 Participants. Additionally, They Plan To Enhance And Activate Five Outdoor Basketball Courts In London’S Underserved Communities Through BE’S #ProjectSwish Campaign.
According To Sport England’S Active Lives Surveys, Basketball Has A Consistently Positive Impact On Well-Being And Attracts People From Less Affluent Backgrounds. This Partnership Will Enable Access Sport To Provide Better Long-Term Guidance To Basketball Clubs, Ensuring The Setup Of Sustainable Inclusive Basketball Sessions.
By Utilizing BE’S Club Network, This Initiative Aims To Reach Communities In Need Of Support. The Collaboration Builds On Their Previous Work On Access Sport’S Pan-Disability Offer, Hoopz, And Focuses On Empowering Local Communities To Create Positive Change Through Basketball.
Both Organizations Are Enthusiastic About The Potential Of This Partnership. They Are Excited To Work Together To Impact Young People’S Lives And Provide Disadvantaged Londoners With Attractive Outdoor Courts To Play Basketball And Stay Active.
This Collaboration Reflects Access Sport’S Commitment To Connecting With New Partners, Including National Governing Bodies. If You’Re Interested In Engaging With This Project, You Can Contact Access Sport At [Email Protected]
