Exciting Showdown: Chattanooga Women’s Basketball vs. UVA Wise

November 18. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at McKenzie Arena, and it’s going to be a non-conference clash that you won’t want to miss!

The Mocs are coming off a great 25-point win over Tennessee Tech, and they’re looking to keep the momentum going in the non-conference season. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in women’s basketball, so it’s definitely going to be an exciting matchup.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (3-1, 0-0 SoCon)

The Mocs bounced back after their first loss of the season and secured a solid 70-45 victory over Tennessee Tech. It was their first-ever road win over Tennessee Tech, and it marked their third win of the 2023-24 season. The team is definitely on a roll!

ABOUT UVA WISE (1-1, 0-0 SAC)

The Cavaliers have had a .500 start to their season, with a win over Clayton State and a loss to Flagler College. They’ll be looking to bring their strong rebounding presence to the game, and the Mocs will need to keep an eye on leading-scorer Sarah Burton.

This will be the first time that UTC and UVA Wise have met on the women’s basketball court, so it’s going to be a historic matchup. The Mocs’ men’s basketball team has played against the Cavaliers before, but this will be a first for the women’s teams.
