The New Jersey City University men’s basketball team played their first home game of the season against Misericordia University. It was a close match, but Misericordia managed to secure an 82-76 victory with some late foul shots. The Gothic Knights put up a good fight, with junior guard Hakeem Wilson leading the team with a career-best 19 points, including four three-pointers. The game saw some impressive plays, including a fastbreak lay-in by sophomore guard Bakhi Rogers-Robinson. Despite their efforts, NJCU was unable to secure the win. The team will now prepare for their upcoming game against #RV Montclair State University on Tuesday night, Nov. 21.
